AIM : To Perform Diagnostic Test of DSP Kit (c6713dsk)

Apparatus Used:
1-DSP Kit - (DSK TMS320C6713)-Texas instrument /spectrum digital make- 01 No
2-Computer system - (P-4 ) -01 No.
3-Software for DSP Kit (provided with kit)- (CCStudio & C6713 DSK Diagnostic Utilities )
4-Power Supply - Adapter provided with Kit- 01 No
5-USB Cable - Provided with kit - 01 No

Procedure:-
After installation the software of DSP Kit, the following icon will appear on the screen.

We should check the all block of DSP Kit by "C6713 DSK Diagnostic Utilities ", before run the any program with kit this is first time operation.
First of all connect the DSP kit to the computer with USB cable in USB socket and power supply in PWR socket.
Perform the following steps for diagnostic test:

• Double click on the "C6713DSK Diagnostic Utilities" Icon. following window will be appear on the screen.

• Click Start button for starting diagnostic. After press start button of "C6713DSK Diagnostic Utilities" tool window, the diagnostic tool start for diagnostic testing step by step to all eight blocks of the kit.


• After testing Diagnostic Status you will get "PASS". (following window will be appear on the screen.)

• If the board still fails to detect, the "C6713DSK Diagnostic Utilities" tool show on the diagnostic status "FAIL". (following window will be appear on the screen.)
  

After passing the diagnostic test, the kit is ready for run the program.
